Moroccan Meatballs with Brown & Wild Rice

These Moroccan meatballs are spiced with turmeric and cumin, inspired by Moroccan flavours! Using cool low fat yoghurt, you can turn down the heat to your taste.

  • Pack of 10 Pre-made Meatballs
  • ½  White Onion, diced
  • 1 Garlic Clove, crushed
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½  tsp Turmeric
  • ¼  tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 3  tbsp Low Fat Yoghurt
  • 1 handful Coriander Leaves
  • 1 pouch UNCLE BEN'S® Brown & Wild Rice 250 g


  1. Pre-heat a large frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil.
  2. Add the meatballs and cook for 2 minutes to get colour on all sides. Add the diced onions, garlic and all the spices, allow to cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the canned chopped tomatoes, turn down the heat and allow to simmer for a further 7-8 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Roughly chop the coriander leaves and combine with the yogurt and set aside until the meatballs and sauce have finished cooking.
  5. Prepare the UNCLE BEN'S® Brown & Wild Rice following instructions on the pouch.
  6. Plate up and enjoy!
